Cross Creek Construction builds covered riding arenas, equipment buildings, and engineered metal buildings across Washington County, Texas, along with the roads, fencing, and gated entries that finish the property. Rural construction is what we have done since 1998.
Buildings that work as hard as you do
Some buildings are for living. These are for doing: covering the arena, protecting the tractor, storing the hay, and pumping the water. We build them with the same care as the house.
- Covered arenas. Clear span steel, sized for how you actually ride.
- Equipment barns. From open bay pole barns to stone equipment buildings with an office.
- Engineered metal buildings. Steel structures, with or without living quarters.
- The rest of the ranch. Loafing sheds, well houses, gazebos, piers, gated entries, fencing, and roads.

A metal building contractor, not just a barn builder
Engineered metal buildings have been part of our work since 1998: shops, equipment buildings, and metal barns, with or without living quarters.
A metal shop sounds simple until you use one every day. Where the doors go, how tall the bays run, whether the slab can take a lift, where the office or the living quarters fit. We design shops and metal buildings around the work you actually do in them, and pole barns where a pole barn is the right answer.
Already have a metal building that needs help? Talk to us about repairs and restorations too: an older building brought back into service beats a new one you did not need.
Is Cross Creek right for your ranch project?
- The building has a job: cover the arena, protect the equipment, store the hay, water the stock.

Fair warning: we only take a handful of projects a year, on purpose. Your building gets our full attention and the time to do the job properly, from the pad to the last gate.

Walk the land with Greg
Every project starts on your property. Greg walks the land with you, talks through what you want, and figures out what belongs where.
Design it together
Greg and Trish design the project with you, and Trish draws the complete set of CAD working drawings. No two projects are alike, so nothing starts from a stock plan.
His crew builds it
A select group of local craftsmen Greg has worked with for years builds it under his direction. You deal with Greg from the first walk to the final walkthrough.

Do you build covered arenas?
Yes. Covered arenas are one of our specialties, including walkways that connect the arena to your stable so you stay dry between the two.
Can an equipment building include an office or living space?
Yes. We have built equipment buildings with offices, kitchens, and full upper levels. Equipment buildings with living quarters are on the list too.
Do you do the site work?
Yes. Roads, gated entries, fencing, paddocks, ponds, and the other phases of turnkey construction. You ask and we can make it happen.
