Remodels & additions · Brenham & Washington CountyRemodels and additions that match what you already love
Cross Creek Construction handles remodels, additions, and restorations around Brenham and Burton, Texas: porches, kitchens, baths, and whole home projects, overseen by Greg Thompson personally.

Additions that look like they were always part of the place
Plenty of good houses just need more room, a real porch, or a kitchen from this century. Tearing down is not the only option, and around here it is usually the wrong one.
- Additions and porches. Designed to match the lines, materials, and spirit of the original house.
- Kitchens and baths. Custom tile, cabinets, and finishes by our regular craftsmen.
- Restorations. Older homes brought back honestly, without erasing their character.
- One person in charge. Greg oversees the work, same as on a full custom home.

Remodels and additions we have done

Is a remodel with us the right call?
- The house is worth keeping: good bones, good land, or too many memories to bulldoze.
- You want the addition to look like it was always there, not stapled on.
- The kitchen and baths deserve the same craftsmanship as a new custom home.
- You want Greg overseeing it, same as a ground-up build.
Fair warning: we only take a handful of projects a year, on purpose. Your remodel gets the same attention and care as a ground-up custom home.
Remodeling questions we hear a lot
What remodeling work do you take on?
Additions, porches, kitchen and bath remodels, and restorations of older homes. If it is worth doing right, we are interested.
Can you add on to a farmhouse without it looking bolted on?
That is the whole point. We design additions to match what is already there, so the porch looks like it was always part of the house.
Do you remodel kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes. Custom tile work, cabinets, and finishes, done by the same craftsmen who work on our custom homes.
Where do you work?
Washington County and nearby: Brenham, Burton, Chappell Hill, Hempstead, and Waller.
Sometimes the answer is a new building instead:
Got a remodel in mind? Call Greg.
We take a handful of projects a year, on purpose. It is the only way every build gets Greg himself, from the first walk of the land to the final walkthrough. When he takes yours, you get all of him.
